3100-Blk Leechburg Rd – MVA with Injuries

On Friday, Stations 223 & 227 were alerted for a 2 vehicle accident with injuries. 223LT arrived on scene and started patient care. 227RQ & 223EN1 arrived on scene and assisted with patient care as well. Two patients were transported to local hospitals with non-life threatening injuries.

450-Blk Hulton Rd – Vehicle VS Pedestrian

On Wednesday, Stations 223, 222, 227 were alerted for a vehicle vs pedestrian. Fire units arrived on scene to find that the vehicle has slipped out of gear and ran a family member over. The vehicle rolled down the hill and hit a gas meter before coming to rest in a creek. The vehicle was unoccupied. Fire units were able to shut the gas meter off. The patient was transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

81.4MM I-376 EB – MVA vs Pedestrian

On Sunday morning Stations 227 & 195 were alerted for a vehicle accident with injuries on I-376 east bound. AC911 started receiving additional called that another two cars hit the original vehicle and a pedestrian was struck and another vehicle rollover. 196RQ was added to the call. PHEMS & 227 Chief arrived on scene and found one patient partially pinned between the vehicle and the jersey barrier. 227RQ arrived on scene and assisted EMS with patient care and traffic control. One patient was transported to a local hospital with lower extremities injuries.

249 Cypress Hill Dr – Residential Structure Fire

On Thursday evening Stations 223,226,227 were alerted for a house on fire. AC911 started receiving numerous calls reporting the fire. PHPD arrived on scene and reported the rear of the house well involved with fire. 223EN1 arrived on scene and crews started going to work, putting attack line in service. 223EN2 secured a water supply. 227EN arrived on scene and was assigned to search the house. Command requested 222EN to the scene. 227TK took a position at the front of the house and set up for aerial operations. Crews operated on scene for about 2 1/2 hours. No injuries were reported.

Lynnwood Dr @ Rosewood Dr – Occupied School Bus Into Pole

On Tuesday, while units were clearing the Thompson Run call. AC911 received a call for an occupied school bus the slid into a utility pole with multiple injuries. 227 units assisted EMS with patient care. Multiple juveniles were transported to local hospitals with non life threatening injuries.

Frey Rd @ Thompson Run – Accident w/Injuries

On Tuesday morning Stations 226, 227, 222, 223 were alerted for a multi car accident with injuries. 227RQ arrived on scene with a multi car pile up. 226AK found one vehicle off the road further up Thompson Run. Both units made contact with all parties involved. No injures were found. A few dozen cars were stranded due to the road conditions.

300-Blk Rodi Rd – Rollover w/Entrapment

On Monday afternoon, Rescue companies 227, 222, 223 were alerted for a two vehicle accident with rollover & entrapment. PHEMS & 227RQ arrived on scene. The driver was able to get out of the vehicle under their own power. Two (2) patients were transported to local hospitals with non life threatening injuries.

10840 Highpoint Dr – Residential Structure Fire

Shortly before 1:00am on Monday morning, Stations 227, 225, 222, 196 were alerted for a bedroom on fire. 227 Chief arrived on scene with smoke showing. All occupants were out of the house. 227 Chief knocked down the fire will an extinguisher. 227EN arrive on scene and crew extinguished the smoldering debris. 222EN was assigned ventilation, 225TK checked for extents ion. 223EN secured utilities to the house. The fire was contained to the room of origin. No injuries were reported. The Allegheny County Fire Marshall is investigating the cause of the fire. Special thanks to PHDPW, crews had the street salted while fire units were arriving on scene.
