Accident W/Rollover – Lougeay Rd @ Elrond Dr

On Friday evening, Stations 227, 222, 223 were alerted for a single vehicle accident with rollover. 227RQ arrived on scene to find the driver had exited the vehicle prior to emergency units arriving on scene. The driver was evaluated by PHEMS. PHPD are investigating the cause of the accident.

1634 Lime Hollow Rd – Residential Structure Fire

On Thursday evening, Stations 227, 222, 223, 225, 196 were alerted for a residential structure fire as a result of a domestic dispute. 227 Chief arrived on scene with moderate smoke showing from the front door. 227EN arrived moments later and crews pulled attack lines. 222EN arrived on scene and secured a water connection to 227EN. 223EN took a second attack line to the rear of the house where they located the bulk of the fire in the basement. 225 checked for extension and hot spots. 196RIT staged in the front driveway. All units worked swiftly to contain the fire. ACFM is investigating the cause of the fire.

201 Jefferson Rd – Jefferson High Rise – Kitchen Fire

On Tuesday, Stations 227 & 226 were alerted for a commercial fire alarm. 227TK arrive on scene and found smoke in the 4th floor hallway. Further investigation crews located an extinguished stove fire. Crews from 227 & 226 ventilated the apartment. One patient was evaluated by PHEMS.

12 Federal Dr – Big Lots – Vehicle Fire

On Monday, Stations 227 & 225 were alerted for a vehicle on fire in the parking lot of Big Lots in the Penn Hills Shopping Center. 227EN arrived on scene with a well involved engine compartment fire. Crews quickly have the fire under control. No injuries were reported.

On Friday, Stations 223 & 227 were alerted for a 2 vehicle accident with injuries. 223LT arrived on scene and started patient care. 227RQ & 223EN1 arrived on scene and assisted with patient care as well. Two patients were transported to local hospitals with non-life threatening injuries.

450-Blk Hulton Rd – Vehicle VS Pedestrian

On Wednesday, Stations 223, 222, 227 were alerted for a vehicle vs pedestrian. Fire units arrived on scene to find that the vehicle has slipped out of gear and ran a family member over. The vehicle rolled down the hill and hit a gas meter before coming to rest in a creek. The vehicle was unoccupied. Fire units were able to shut the gas meter off. The patient was transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

81.4MM I-376 EB – MVA vs Pedestrian

On Sunday morning Stations 227 & 195 were alerted for a vehicle accident with injuries on I-376 east bound. AC911 started receiving additional called that another two cars hit the original vehicle and a pedestrian was struck and another vehicle rollover. 196RQ was added to the call. PHEMS & 227 Chief arrived on scene and found one patient partially pinned between the vehicle and the jersey barrier. 227RQ arrived on scene and assisted EMS with patient care and traffic control. One patient was transported to a local hospital with lower extremities injuries.

249 Cypress Hill Dr – Residential Structure Fire

On Thursday evening Stations 223,226,227 were alerted for a house on fire. AC911 started receiving numerous calls reporting the fire. PHPD arrived on scene and reported the rear of the house well involved with fire. 223EN1 arrived on scene and crews started going to work, putting attack line in service. 223EN2 secured a water supply. 227EN arrived on scene and was assigned to search the house. Command requested 222EN to the scene. 227TK took a position at the front of the house and set up for aerial operations. Crews operated on scene for about 2 1/2 hours. No injuries were reported.
