7926 Lincoln Road – Dwelling Fire
Wednesday afternoon stations 221, 222, 225, and 227 responded to a possible residential fire as a reported vehicle outside the residence was smoking possibly endangering the structure. 222 pulled attack lines as other companies on scene assisted with vehicle entry. Fire was extinguished with no damage to residence.

Truck 227 & Engine 227 Takes Delivery Of New Fans
On Friday, we took delivery of our long awaited BlowHard Fans . These fans are battey powered, which means less set up time and no cords on the ground that could cause a tripping hazard. One fan will be placed on Truck 227 and the other on Engine 227.
7567 Manilla St – Residential Structure Fire
On Thursday afternoon while the Alcoma fire was taking place, AC911 received calls reporting a house on fire on Manilla St. Stations 227, 137, 153, 122, 302, 278 were dispatched. EMS from 310 updated responders that it was a house on fire fully involved. 137EN & 227EN arrived on scene, 137EN established a water supply. 153TK & 227TK arrived on scene. Upon further investigation it was discovered that the building on fire was not a house and just a shed. All other fire units were canceled. Fire was extinguished with no damage to the house next door. ACFM is investigating the cause of the fire.

Alcoma On The Green – Commercial Structure Fire
On Thursday, Stations 223, 226, 227, 224 were alerted for an odor of something burning on the 4th floor of Alcoma On The Green Apartment Complex. AC911 started receiving additional calls reporting a fire in apartment 410 and additional people trapped on the 4th, 5th, 6th floors. Fire units started arriving on scene. Crews made it to the 4th floor and reported heavy fire in apartment 410. Additional fire units arriving on scene assisted with removing tenants from the stairwells and water supply. Nemours fire departments operated on scene of the 4 alarm fire for about 4 hours. Penn Hills Fire Marshal and the Allegheny County Fire Marshal are investigating the cause of the fire. Thanks to all the units that were involved.

13033 Frankstown Rd – Apartment Fire
On Tuesday, Stations 227, 222, 223, 226, 196 were alerted for an apartment on fire. While en route, AC911 reporting PHPD had hit the fire with an extinguisher. 227TK arrived on scene with smoke showing. Crews entered the building and found a smoke condition and smoldering cabinets about the stove. 223EN checked for extension while 222EN setup ventilation. The PH Fire Marshal is investigating the cause.
