16 Federal Dr – Water Condition

On Wednesday evening, Stations 227, 225 were alerted for a water flow alarm 16 Federal Dr. 227TK arrived on scene to a construction crew that had accidentally hit a sprinkler head and was actively flowing water. Crews quickly made their way to the riser room and were able to shut off the city water supply to the system. Crews were able to get the suppression back online. Water did make it into the adjacent tenant. Crews from both companies assisted with water removal in both spaces.

113 Martinique Dr – Residential Structure Fire

On Wednesday afternoon, Stations 223, 227, 222, 224, 233 were alerted for a residential structure in the 100-blk of Martinique Dr. 223 Assistant arrived on scene with an odor of something burning from the house. 227TK arrived on scene and it’s crew stretched an attack line and forced entry to the front door while the building was being laddered. Crews found an extinguished fire that was in the living room area. 223EN arrived on scene and it’s crew checked for hot spots and any extension. 222EN arrived on scene and stood by the hydrant. No injuries were reported. PHFM is investigating the cause of the fire.

5769 Saltsburg Rd – Smoke In The Structure

On Wednesday morning Stations 222, 227, 223 were alerted for an odor of something burning inside the office building. Crews arrived on scene and started investigating the source of the odor. It was later found to be a faulty computer monitor. The building was ventilated and crews returned to service.

6245 Heberton Dr – Residential Structure Fire

On Monday morning, Stations 223, 227, 222, 224 we’re alerted for a basement on fire on Heberton Dr. 227TK & 223EN arrived on scene and a water supply was secured. Crews found a basement on fire. There was minor extension to the first floor. Crews operated on scene for about an hour. PHFM is investigating the cause of the fire.

105 Archer St – Structural Collapse

On Saturday evening Stations 221, 225, 222, 227 were alerted for a structural collapse at 105 Archer St. Companies operated on scene for a few hours trying to stabilize the house so it didn’t damage the neighboring houses. St.137 was added for RIT and Sardis 78 was added to assist with stabilization.

100-blk Pheasant Dr – Structure Fire

On Tuesday morning Stations 227, 225, 223, 222, 196 were alerted for a house on fire in the 100-blk of Pheasant Dr. 227CHF arrived on scene and confirmed a fire on the rear deck. All occupants were safely removed from the structure. 227EN arrived on scene and crews quickly extinguished the fire. 225TK arrived on scene and checked for any extension, none was found. All other units were cancelled. The PH Fire Marshal is investigating the cause of the fire. No injuries were reported.

4900-blk ARB – Accident w/Entrapment

On Sunday morning, Station 222, 227, 285 were alerted for a two car accident with entrapment in the 4900-blk of Allegheny River Boulevard. PHPD arrived on scene and confirmed one driver entrapped in the vehicle. 227RQ arrived on scene and crews stabilized the vehicle and then began removing the driver side door for patient access. 222RQ arrived and assisted removing the door. Bother drivers were transported to local trauma centers. PHPD is investigating the cause of the accident.

6400-Blk Leechburg Rd – Pole and Wires Down

On Saturday, shortly before 4:30 PM station 223 and 227 were alerted for a single vehicle accident with a utility pole down in the 6400-blk of Leechburg Rd. 223 Assistant arrived on scene shortly after dispatch and confirmed two utility poles and a guide pole down with live wires sparking. 223EN and 227EN arrived on scene and blocked Leechburg Rd. The actor vehicle fled the area. The driver was apprehended a short time later and detained on suspicion of DWI. No other injuries were reported
